CPNI Policy

CPNI is a communications industry abbreviation that stands for Customer Proprietary Network Information. CPNI refers to your telephone service, including the charges on your bill; the services you subscribe to; and your usage data and calling patterns. In short, it is your private information about your communication services.

We value you as a customer and we know how much your privacy means to you. In the normal course of providing you with telecommunication services, MT Networks collects and maintains certain information about you. MT Networks uses this information to conduct our business, to advise you on our products and services, and to provide you with excellent customer service. Only MT Networks and its subsidiaries can see or use this information. It is never released to outside companies.

When you contact one of our customer service representatives for assistance, we will verify your identity prior to accessing your account information. This is to protect you and prevent fraudulent activity from occurring to your account. We will ask you to verify information that identifies you or the individuals you specify as authorized to view or make changes to your account.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has mandated CPNI ‘must comply’ rules for all telecommunications companies. The rules are designed to safeguard your information from anyone who is not authorized to have access to your account. The rules were effective December 8, 2007.

No action on your part is necessary unless you wish to restrict MT Networks’ use of this type of information to contact you for the purpose of tailoring our service offerings to your individual needs. Should you wish to restrict the use of your CPNI, please call us at 800-794-4740 within 30 days of receipt of this notice. Restricting CPNI may make you ineligible to receive information from MT Networks about new products and services, promotions, and packaged offerings.

Whatever you decide will not affect the provision of any services to which you subscribe. Your approval or denial for the use of CPNI will remain valid until you tell us otherwise. Again, we only use your account information to market other telecommunications services and products the company offers and no action is required on your part unless you wish to restrict our use of your CPNI. You will still receive monthly bill inserts and other publications that are sent to all customers at the same time so that you are kept up to date on what is happening in the company. We look forward to being able to serve your telecommunications needs more efficiently with new and existing products and services based on the information we know about your account.
